Duties: Provide legal support to the Division of Children and Family Services as a juvenile court attorney for the Eastern Service Area. Appear as a special assistant attorney general representing the Department in juvenile court proceedings, with an emphasis on child welfare proceedings. Provide litigation support to the agency and Attorney General's Office, as needed, which may include the handling of appeals filed with the Nebraska appellate courts on behalf of the agency. Conduct privilege reviews for compliance with public records requests and discovery requests, as needed.
