Duties:

• Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, and briefs related to personal injury cases.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and advocate on their behalf.
• Manage cases from inception through to resolution, ensuring timely and effective progress.
• Provide legal advice and strategy to clients throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain a high level of client communication, ensuring they are informed and supported.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals within the firm to achieve optimal results for clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in personal injury law with a strong background in litigation.
• Expertise in drafting legal documents, including motions, complaints, and briefs.
• Strong negotiation skills, especially in settlement discussions with insurance companies.
• Ability to represent clients effectively in court and at hearings.
• Capacity to manage a diverse caseload independently while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-driven.
• Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to personal injury cases.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active member of the state bar in the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.
