A well-established law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney licensed in New Mexico to join its litigation team. This full-time remote position is ideal for an experienced litigator ready to lead case strategy and trial preparation in complex personal injury matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of litigation, from intake and planning through trial, and will collaborate closely with clients and legal teams to drive favorable outcomes.

Analyze new case files immediately upon receipt and develop an action plan regarding liability, collectability, and damages.
Lead litigation tasks including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, hearings, mediations, and pre-trial conferences.
Manage all aspects of trial preparation and serve as lead counsel for jury trials.
Interact professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters in both virtual and in-person settings.
Draft and argue contested legal motions with precision and persuasive skill.
Support and coordinate efforts of trial team members.
Maintain compliance with all firm policies, court deadlines, and ethical obligations.
Minimum 5 years of experience managing and litigating personal injury matters.
Demonstrated experience handling all facets of litigation independently.
Previous experience as lead or second chair in jury trials.
Ability to plan and execute legal strategies from case intake to verdict.
Familiarity with case management systems and reporting tools.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
High emotional intelligence and professionalism in interactions with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
Writing sample (preferably a filed motion or response) required upon application.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in the State of New Mexico (in good standing).
