Duties
Conduct initial case assessments and craft strategic litigation plans
Manage all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, organizing document productions, and preparing for depositions
Take and defend depositions; draft and argue motions; attend and participate in hearings
Advise clients on legal options, potential outcomes, and risk factors
Foster and sustain strong client relationships through regular communication and updates
Negotiate settlements, prepare for mediations, and represent clients at trial and arbitration
Collaborate with senior counsel and support staff to ensure seamless case progression
Stay abreast of developments in tort law, professional liability, and insurance coverage issues
Requirements
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
Active admission to practice law in Nevada
Minimum of three years’ hands-on litigation experience focusing on tort, general liability, professional liability, or insurance coverage disputes
Proven ability to think critically, analyze complex issues, and meet tight deadlines
Strong initiative and capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor
Detail-oriented approach with superior organizational capabilities
Familiarity with litigation software (e.g., iManage or OneDrive) and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
Education
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications
Licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada
Skills
