A distinguished law firm located in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Attorney to join its high-performing litigation team. This position involves managing complex family law cases involving high-net-worth individuals, with access to a full suite of in-house support, including discovery professionals, forensic experts, and client service managers. Duties:

• Manage and litigate sophisticated family law matters, including dissolution, custody, support, and property division

• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, and trials

• Coordinate with internal specialists such as discovery attorneys and forensic accountants

• Provide strategic counsel to clients and collaborate with a team of legal professionals

• Maintain compliance with procedural rules and court requirements

• Oversee and direct support staff in the preparation of legal documents and case materials

• Engage in ongoing legal research and analysis relevant to case law and statutory changes

Requirements:

• Substantial experience practicing family law, particularly in complex and high-asset cases

• Demonstrated litigation and courtroom experience

• Strong written and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of California

• Certification as a Family Law Specialist (CFLS) preferred but not required

Skills:

• Expertise in California family law statutes and procedures

• Ability to manage high-conflict and sensitive matters with discretion

• Familiarity with legal and financial documentation relevant to asset division

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication capabilities

• Tech-savvy with the ability to use legal practice management software
