A law firm seeks a mid-level healthcare associate attorney with 4 to 6 years of experience in regulatory and transactional healthcare law. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to structure, execute, and ensure compliance with healthcare-related business transactions while navigating the complexities of current healthcare regulations. This role is a great opportunity for growth within a collaborative and fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on healthcare regulatory compliance, including structuring and managing healthcare-related business transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate healthcare-related contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research on healthcare regulations, laws, and policies to ensure client compliance with federal and state requirements.
  • Advise clients on issues such as fraud and abuse laws, HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Work on transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures within the healthcare sector.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective legal strategies for complex healthcare transactions.
  • Represent clients in discussions with regulatory bodies, as needed.

Requirements:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in healthcare regulatory and transactional law.
  • Strong background in healthcare law, including knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to handle complex healthcare transactions and compliance matters.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from a first-tier law school, top 25% of graduating class preferred.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia, in good standing.

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based setting while managing client relationships.
