Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal direction for pre-litigation personal injury cases

• Evaluate medical records and collaborate with case managers to assess case value

• Lead negotiations with insurers and opposing parties

• Consult with subject matter experts when appropriate

• Offer mentoring and legal guidance to case management staff

• Maintain consistent and professional client communication

• Coordinate with firm leadership to enhance legal strategy and case outcomes

• Handle complex or high-profile cases in coordination with senior leadership

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in personal injury law

• Licensed to practice in North Carolina

• South Carolina Bar admission is considered a strong advantage

• Strong written communication, research, and negotiation capabilities

• Ability to work independently while engaging in team-oriented environments

• Previous use of legal case management software preferred

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is considered a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar

• South Carolina Bar membership is a plus

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and drafting

• Skilled in verbal advocacy and public communication

• Adept with legal technologies and digital tools (e.g., Needles Neos or similar)

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

• Capable of mentoring junior staff and coordinating team workflows
