Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled Trust and Estates Attorney to join its team in Uniondale, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estate planning and administration and additional expertise in institutional representation and tax law.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice and support in estate planning and drafting of documents.
• Handle estate administration matters efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to trust and estate issues.
• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized estate plans.
• Represent clients in probate proceedings and trust administration.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Admitted to the New York State Bar and in good standing; admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience, specifically in estate planning and administration.
• Experience in institutional representation, tax law, elder law, and special needs planning is advantageous.
• Strong professional judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.
• Proactive, resourceful, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Education and Certifications:
