Job Overview

A law firm seeks two Personal Injury Litigation Associates in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic about managing their own cases and gaining trial experience. This role offers the opportunity to handle cases from intake through trial, providing extensive litigation and negotiation experience.

Duties

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, including products and premises liability, and motor vehicle accidents.
• Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, experts, and witnesses.
• Research and draft motions, including summary judgments and demurrers.
• Prepare for trial, including drafting motions in limine and jury instructions.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Draft complaints for various personal injury cases.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Nevada State Bar licensure is a plus.
• 2-7 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in personal injury litigation and trial is advantageous.
• Familiarity with legal research tools like WestlawNext or LexisAdvance is beneficial.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat DC.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California State Bar license.
