Duties

• Represent employees and unions in employment-related legal matters.
• Handle administrative discipline cases, dismissals, and grievance hearings.
• Manage unfair labor practice charges and State Personnel Board appeals.
• Conduct arbitrations, mediations, and court trials.
• Advise and represent clients in family law matters.
• Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Appear at court hearings and administrative interviews.
• Maintain regular communication with clients.
• Participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call schedule.
• Manage case deadlines and maintain accurate records.
• Stay current with MCLE requirements.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.).
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Reside in or near Riverside County.
• Knowledge of California and federal labor/employment laws.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Education
