A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney - Foreclosure in Boca Raton, Florida. This role offers a chance to develop expertise in foreclosure litigation and default servicing within a dynamic creditors' rights practice. The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced attorneys and gain hands-on responsibility throughout the litigation lifecycle.

Duties

• Manage and assist with a portfolio of Florida foreclosure matters from referral through final disposition.
• Draft, review, and file complaints, motions, affidavits, and other pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on foreclosure and creditors' rights issues.
• Prepare for and appear at hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.
• Review borrower answers and assist in developing litigation strategies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Work closely with paralegals to ensure timely file progression.
• Review title reports and assist with resolving title defects.
• Assist with post-judgment matters, including certificates of title and writs of possession.
• Maintain accurate file documentation and complete required tasks within client systems.
• Assist with client reporting, quality-control reviews, and file audits.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and firm policies.
• Assist with Georgia foreclosure matters as appropriate.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a high-volume practice.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with case-management and client-reporting systems.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
