Duties

• Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including personal injury and liability claims.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions.
• Develop litigation strategies tailored to each case.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Present compelling arguments and advocate for clients in court.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
• 10+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation, including trial experience.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and uphold ethical standards.
• Clear, confident, and effective communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.
