A law firm seeks a skilled Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney for its Orlando, Florida office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, particularly in Construction Law, and will manage hearings and depositions. This onsite position offers potential for a hybrid work arrangement.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of legal cases, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Utilize electronic discovery tools proficiently.
• Supervise paralegal and legal assistant staff in document preparation.
• Meet performance goals, including billable hours and receipts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve client issues.
• Negotiate settlements and provide legal strategy explanations to clients.
• Conduct legal research and analysis for complex issues.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Florida.
• Experience in Commercial Litigation with high-volume practices.
• Strong knowledge of state laws related to Commercial Litigation and Construction Law.
• Outstanding negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional client interaction and customer-service skills.
• Highly organized with excellent planning and reporting skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed in Florida.

Skills

• Experience with Filevine and Lead Docket is preferred.
