Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases with a focus on personal injury defense

• Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and other legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to complex litigation matters

• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and trials

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Participate in case strategy discussions and collaborate with legal team members

• Review and analyze evidence, records, and case files

• Support senior attorneys in high-stakes cases when necessary

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Maryland

• Demonstrated experience in drafting legal documents such as motions and memoranda

• Strong organizational and analytical thinking capabilities

• High-level written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team

• Reliable time management skills in handling multiple cases and deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Maryland Bar

Skills:

• Legal writing and research proficiency

• Familiarity with civil procedures and case law
