Location:

Duties:

• Represent financial institutions in complex derivatives transactions

• Draft and negotiate documentation for highly structured, bespoke derivatives deals

• Advise clients on regulatory and transactional issues related to derivatives

• Manage and progress transactions independently with minimal supervision

• Maintain and develop strong client relationships

• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across multiple practice areas

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in derivatives law

• Experience gained at a financial institution or law firm

• Proficiency in drafting documents for complex structured transactions

• Demonstrated ability to handle matters independently and drive deal execution

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills

• Solid understanding of derivatives markets and related financial instruments

• Excellent communication and client service skills
