Attorney – Public Interest Justice Initiative
The candidate will be responsible for: Research, fact-check and analyze case files, statutes and secondary resource data regarding criminal convictions; investigate outcomes by interviews with inmates, crime victims and prison authorities; draft summary reports, including case analysis, conclusions and recommendations and communicate findings to client representatives; prepare affidavits and provide testimony as needed regarding summary report results; and perform other related duties as required. Must have superior research, writing and editing skills. Should have Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school. Must be Member of State Bar of Wisconsin. Should have 2+ years of public interest or criminal / civil law experience. Must have Licensure within the State of Wisconsin.
Project duration: Two years.
