A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate Associate specializing in Commercial Contracts to join their team in St. Louis. The successful candidate will work within the Corporate/M&A Practice Group, providing legal expertise in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

Duties

• Negotiate and draft primary and ancillary documents for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Lead M&A due diligence for both targets and acquirers.
• Advise on transaction and entity structuring and related tax matters.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Corporate/M&A law.
• Law license in the location of the office.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of the office location.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of general corporate law.
• Experience with transaction and entity structuring.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
