A law firm seeks a 3rd to 4th year creditor's rights litigation associate in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in state court litigation, particularly in residential and commercial property foreclosure actions, as well as commercial collection actions.

Duties

• Handle residential and commercial property foreclosure actions.
• Manage commercial collection actions.
• Enforce mortgages and other security interests in New York.
• Participate in loan workouts and Article 9 foreclosure proceedings.
• Engage in mortgage loan purchase and sale transactions.

Requirements

• State court litigation experience.
• Experience with residential and commercial foreclosure actions.
• Experience with commercial collection actions.
• NY Bar admission required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills

• Strong litigation skills.
