Location:

• Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Duties:

• Review and assess new case files to establish case strategies, budgets, and recommendations

• Identify and manage pleading requirements; delegate tasks to paralegals and support staff

• Prepare and review discovery responses and coordinate document production

• Attend depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings, providing detailed summaries and reports

• Negotiate settlements and prepare for trial proceedings when necessary

• Maintain regular communication with legal assistants and paralegals

• Collaborate with firm leadership to meet performance benchmarks and contribute to team growth

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in workers’ compensation defense

• A portable book of business

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven legal environment

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn legal database tools

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania
