Duties

• Assist senior attorneys with municipal law and land use matters
• Prepare legal research and memoranda related to zoning, planning, and regulatory issues
• Draft resolutions, opinions, and supporting documents for municipal boards
• Review and analyze site plans, environmental assessments, and development proposals
• Participate in meetings, hearings, and client interactions as needed
• Support transactional matters involving local government entities and real property

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in municipal law, zoning, land use, or related practice areas
• Strong legal research and writing capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with attention to detail
• Familiarity with municipal procedures, planning board processes, and zoning codes preferred
• Admission to practice law in New York State

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
