This opportunity is tailored for an associate in their fourth or fifth year of practice who brings a passion for navigating complex commercial conflicts. Core Responsibilities:

• Prepare and refine persuasive legal documents, including claims, defenses, and motions, ensuring they are tailored to each case’s unique aspects.

• Engage deeply in the discovery process by drafting and answering demands and interrogatories, managing document production, and analyzing materials obtained during discovery.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to shape litigation tactics, contributing thoughtful insights and legal research to bolster case strategies.

• Gain exposure to direct client interaction, depositions, and courtroom advocacy as competence and confidence are demonstrated.

• Keep abreast of legal precedents and developments that could influence ongoing or future cases, ensuring the team’s strategies remain robust and informed.

• Coordinate with colleagues across various legal disciplines to deliver holistic solutions that address multifaceted client needs.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Admission to practice law in the State of New York, in good standing.

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial litigation, with a solid foundation in managing complex casework.

• Proven track record of crafting compelling legal arguments through written advocacy.

• Demonstrated capability in managing the discovery process, including drafting and responding to complex demands.

• Interest and readiness to engage in depositions and court appearances as opportunities arise.

Skills & Attributes:

• Exceptional writing and analytical skills, with an ability to distill intricate legal issues into clear, persuasive arguments.

• Organized and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines concurrently.
