Duties

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct extensive legal research.
• Develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
• Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs.
• Provide effective and timely communications and legal advice to clients and claims specialists.
• Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel.
• Ensure prompt, efficient, and effective disposition of assigned cases.
• Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong writing skills and excellent work ethic.

Education

• Bachelor's degree with J.D.
• Admission to the bar in Colorado.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in tracking billable hours using electronic practice management software.
