Duties:

• Represent clients in immigration-related matters including visa applications, green card processing, and citizenship procedures
• Provide legal counsel and guidance on complex immigration laws and regulations
• Draft and review immigration documents such as petitions, applications, and other legal forms
• Conduct legal research to ensure up-to-date knowledge of current immigration policies
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed promptly
• Assist in case preparation for hearings, including providing expert testimony when needed
• Work collaboratively with other legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience practicing immigration law
• Strong understanding of U.S. immigration processes and policies
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle a high-volume caseload with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
• Ability to effectively manage client relationships and expectations
• Multilingual proficiency is a plus but not required
