The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in broadcast law to work in a robust broadcast practice with a specialty in public broadcasting. Experience working with non-profit entities preferred. Must demonstrate a passion for the practice; build and maintain relationships with clients, FCC staff, and industry professionals; possess the ability to manage multiple projects; and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality work products. Strong public speaking and writing skills are required along with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively. A book of business is not required but is welcome will advise commercial and noncommercial educational broadcasters, trade associations, American Indian Tribes, technology companies, and broadband and e-commerce providers on a wide array of matters before the FCC, including licensing, spectrum auctions, rulemakings, program content, forfeitures, and consent decrees; will work alongside attorneys and staff motivated by excellent client service.
