Associate Attorney needed for Denver office

A respected Colorado-based defense law firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its growing litigation team. The firm focuses on employment law, professional liability, insurance defense, coverage litigation, and commercial disputes. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a diverse caseload and work alongside accomplished legal professionals in a collaborative environment.

Location:

• Denver, Colorado

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters including employment, professional liability, and insurance defense

• Manage cases through all phases, including discovery, motion practice, arbitration, and trial

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents

• Participate in client meetings and case strategy sessions

• Appear in court and administrative hearings as required

• Engage in negotiations, mediations, and settlement discussions

Requirements:

• Litigation experience, including familiarity with Colorado court procedures

• Experience with discovery, motion practice, trial/arbitration, and client interaction

• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain organized case files

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities

• Well-developed time management and organizational skills
