Duties

• Conduct legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests.
• Conduct client meetings to develop custom estate planning and elder law strategies.
• Draft and review estate planning documents such as trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
• Handle estate administration and probate matters efficiently.
• Advocate for seniors and families in long-term care and Medicaid planning.
• Represent clients in probate court and elder law cases.
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants, maintaining oversight.
• Stay updated on Massachusetts estate planning, probate, and elder law changes.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a senior associate in the legal field.
• 7+ years of experience in estate planning, estate administration, probate, and elder law.
• Strong case management skills and ability to navigate Massachusetts probate and elder law processes.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle complex cases independently and collaborate with a legal team.
• Active member in good standing with the Massachusetts State Bar.
• Experience advocating in probate hearings, elder law disputes, and Medicaid planning cases.

Education

• Bachelor's degree and a law degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
