A well-established personal injury law firm is seeking a Case Development Intake Attorney to join its Austin office. The attorney will manage a docket of approximately 50 pre-litigation cases with the support of a dedicated case manager. This role is critical to ensuring accurate investigation, client onboarding, medical coordination, and legal readiness for transition to litigation. Ideal for attorneys with strong client service instincts and interest in early case strategy.

Manage and triage approximately 50 personal injury cases
Investigate facts, secure evidence, and preserve key documentation
Obtain accident reports, property damage photos, and witness statements
Conduct criminal and social media background checks
Assist clients in documenting and developing medical damages
Send letters of representation and submit open records requests
Communicate with clients and insurance adjusters throughout the case
Handle property damage claims as needed
Supervise and collaborate with assigned case manager
Prepare monthly status reports and internal case evaluations
Participate in after-hours intake coverage on a rotational basis
Conduct in-person, in-office, or remote sign-ups via electronic signature
Manage case preparation until transfer to litigation team
Occasionally draft demand letters and participate in early settlement discussions
0–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in personal injury or intake roles
Available for occasional after-hours calls and weekend rotations
Comfortable with in-field tasks including site photos and investigations
Customer service or sales experience is a plus
Prior supervisory experience with support staff preferred
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Texas
Valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record
Strong initiative and self-motivation
Excellent communication and delegation abilities
Organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Legal research and factual investigation capabilities
Emotional intelligence and client empathy
Ability to lead and energize team members
Proficiency in drafting and client correspondence
Spanish language proficiency is a plus
