Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in San Francisco is looking to hire a skilled General Liability Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least two years of experience to take on meaningful and complex cases in a dynamic, collaborative environment. The position offers exposure to diverse areas of litigation, including general liability, professional liability (especially in healthcare, senior living, and specialty care), product liability, mass torts, and more. This role provides a platform to engage with clients directly, take on substantial responsibilities, and advance in the legal profession.

Duties:

• Manage all stages of litigation, from case preparation to trial.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic recommendations to clients.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and case management.
• Maintain strong client relationships and offer high-quality legal service.
• Participate in discovery processes and prepare legal strategies.
• Keep up-to-date with legal developments in relevant practice areas.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in general liability or related litigation fields.
• Solid understanding of civil litigation processes and court procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable with direct client interaction and managing multiple cases.
• Professional demeanor with attention to detail and deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California.

Skills:

• Expertise in general liability and/or related fields such as professional liability, product liability, or mass torts.
• Proficiency with legal research tools, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic legal environment.
• Leadership potential with a desire to take on growing responsibilities.
