Associate Attorney needed for Las Vegas office

A law firm based in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will focus on collection and litigation matters, demonstrating exceptional written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. This role involves managing breach of contract and collection litigation from initial demand through judgment, attending court hearings, and preparing and arguing Motions for Summary Judgment. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment.
• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in-person, as required.
• Prepare, file, and argue Motions for Summary Judgment.
• Manage an assigned caseload to meet goals and client expectations efficiently.
• Address escalated and time-sensitive matters promptly.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the state of California; multi-jurisdictional admission in AZ, CA, NV, and TX preferred but not required.
• Experience with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is a plus.
