A law firm is seeking an Advertising, Marketing, and Promotions Partner to join their team in Raleigh, NC.

Job Overview:

The Advertising, Marketing, and Promotions Partner will provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in both traditional and new media platforms. They will play a crucial role in protecting clients' business interests and brand elements throughout various campaign phases, from concept to implementation, while also advising on compliance and handling challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers. Additionally, the Partner will lead litigation efforts related to false advertising and unfair competition claims, foster client relationships, and contribute to business development initiatives.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in traditional and new media
• Protect clients’ business interests and brand elements throughout campaign life cycles
• Counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers
• Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims in court and before NAD
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
• Actively participate in business development initiatives to expand the advertising, marketing, and promotions practice

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law
• Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work well independently and within a team
• Ability to lead and mentor junior attorneys and legal staff
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Experience in litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims

Education & Certifications:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
