Duties

• Handle all stages of personal injury litigation, including trial

• Prepare and submit pleadings, motions, and discovery materials

• Conduct depositions of witnesses and expert professionals

• Represent clients in mediations, court hearings, and jury trials

• Investigate claims, interview clients and witnesses, and assess case value

• Negotiate settlements with defense counsel and insurers

• Collaborate with legal assistants, investigators, and other legal staff

• Maintain thorough case documentation and records

• Monitor legal trends and changes relevant to personal injury practice

Requirements

• Admission to the Ohio Bar and in good standing

• Minimum 1 year of experience handling litigation in personal injury law

•  2-5 years of plaintiff or defense personal injury practice

• Demonstrated ability to manage case files from inception to resolution

• Proficiency in legal research, motion practice, and trial preparation

• Strong negotiation and communication abilities

• Capacity to operate independently while contributing to team efforts

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Ohio
