Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Business Litigation Attorney to join its Wilmington, DE office. This position focuses on Delaware Court of Chancery matters, including corporate governance disputes, fiduciary litigation, and complex business conflicts involving shareholders, LLC members, and business owners.

Duties

• Litigate corporate and commercial disputes in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
• Handle fiduciary duty claims, shareholder/LLC disputes, contract rescission, and dissolution actions.
• Draft complex motions and briefs involving DGCL issues, restrictive covenants, and trust/fiduciary matters.
• Conduct and defend depositions; examine witnesses in Chancery trials.
• Present oral arguments before Delaware courts and participate in arbitration/ADR.
• Advise clients on corporate governance and strategic dispute resolution.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial/business litigation experience.
• Prior Delaware Chancery Court experience required.
• Strong writing, deposition, and courtroom skills.
• Delaware Bar admission required, additional bars a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Delaware Bar.
