Job Overview:
A reputable law firm based in Newport Beach, CA, is looking to expand its litigation team with an attorney focused on insurance defense matters. Duties:

• Handle case files involving bodily injury, construction defect, and related defense matters

• Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, and resolve discovery-related disputes

• Take and defend depositions

• Represent clients in court hearings and manage trial preparation activities

• Deliver strong written and oral advocacy throughout litigation processes

Requirements:

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar

• Demonstrated litigation experience, particularly within insurance defense or general civil litigation

• Strong command of legal procedures and case strategy

• Capable of managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• An active Nevada Bar license is required

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and writing

• Strong analytical and organizational abilities

• Effective communicator in both oral and written forms

• Comfortable with independent work and collaborative case strategy
