Duties:
Manage all aspects of complex civil litigation matters, including:
Drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
Taking and defending depositions
Preparing witnesses and presenting at court appearances
Handle matters involving insurance defense, public entity litigation, and commercial or construction-related disputes
Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices in a team-oriented environment
Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies tailored to client objectives
Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex civil litigation
Prior experience in insurance litigation, public entity defense, and/or construction litigation preferred
Demonstrated ability to draft and argue dispositive motions
Strong work ethic and motivation to work both independently and in collaboration
Open to remote mentorship and communication with team members in other offices
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Strong academic credentials preferred
Judicial clerkship or law review experience is a plus
Certifications:
Active Bar license in the state of California (required)
Good standing with the California State Bar
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong legal research, analysis, and advocacy skills
Proficient in handling motion practice and depositions
High level of professionalism and client service orientation
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines
