A law firm seeks a mid-level private equity/M&A associate to join its corporate group in New York City, NY. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of transactions and work closely with private equity and institutional clients.

Duties

• Advise clients on buyout transactions, co-investments, joint ventures, and add-on acquisitions.
• Manage transactions with limited supervision.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Requirements

• Approximately 4 years of relevant US law transactional experience in a law firm setting.
• Member in good standing of the New York bar or willingness to be admitted.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated good judgment and strong work ethic.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills

• Significant experience in private equity/M&A deals.
• Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
