Duties

• Develop and execute case strategies in contested family law matters

• Represent clients confidently in hearings, mediations, and trials

• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and other legal documents

• Advise clients on issues related to property division, parenting plans, and modifications

• Negotiate settlements and facilitate resolution through collaboration and mediation

• Evaluate the practicality and cost-effectiveness of legal action on minor disputes

• Collaborate with internal legal team in a supportive and client-focused environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contested family law litigation

• Proven ability to manage cases independently from intake to trial

• Excellent courtroom presence and advocacy skills

• Strong interpersonal and client counseling abilities

• Must embody the values of teamwork, integrity, service, and excellence

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills

• Proficiency with the Texas Family Code and Texas Rules of Civil Procedure

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities

• Skilled in legal drafting, analysis, and research

• High emotional intelligence and ability to manage client relationships during stressful circumstances
