A distinguished law firm based in Austin, TX, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead Trial Attorney to manage a select docket of high-value personal injury matters. Duties:
Take full ownership of complex personal injury cases through all phases of litigation
Draft, review, and argue substantive motions grounded in strategic litigation planning
Conduct depositions, prepare witnesses, and formulate compelling trial narratives
Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, high-quality communication
Navigate legal proceedings with deep knowledge of procedural and evidentiary rules (TRCP)
Collaborate closely with legal staff, including attorneys, paralegals, and investigators
Champion trial readiness with a disciplined, data-informed approach
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year hands-on litigation experience (personal injury strongly preferred)
Demonstrated experience taking cases to jury trial
Familiarity with both plaintiff and defense-side litigation strategies
Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with a keen sense of courtroom dynamics
Comfortable receiving and integrating feedback to continuously improve performance
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an advantage
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Active law license in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (or eligible for reciprocity in Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico)
Skills:
