A leading national law firm is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate to join its growing IP team. This position focuses on patent litigation and provides the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile matters for national and international clients. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in intellectual property law, and a technical background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science. Prior federal clerkship experience is also highly valued. The firm offers a collaborative, client-focused environment and a hybrid work model with significant potential for professional growth.

Represent clients in patent litigation cases in federal courts
Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, and pleadings
Participate in all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
Conduct technical and legal research to support litigation strategy
Attend hearings, conferences, and trials as needed
Work closely with internal litigation teams and clients across offices
Maintain strong client service and timely communication throughout litigation processes
1–3 years of experience in intellectual property litigation
Background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science strongly preferred
Experience clerking for a federal judge is a plus
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-performance legal environment
Strong commitment to professional growth and client success
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school
Excellent academic credentials required
Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
USPTO registration is a plus, though not required
Excellent legal research and writing capabilities
Strong oral advocacy and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple matters with competing deadlines
Technical aptitude in engineering or computer science disciplines
Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure
