Duties:

• Draft and prosecute domestic and international patent applications

• Collaborate with inventors and technical experts to evaluate innovations

• Conduct patentability, freedom-to-operate, and infringement analyses

• Manage a diverse docket involving chemical and mechanical subject matter

• Prepare legal opinions and provide strategic IP counseling

• Support due diligence for IP transactions and portfolio assessments

• Engage in client development and internal team collaboration

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience

• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

• Demonstrated experience with technologies related to chemical engineering, materials science, polymers, and medical devices

• Familiarity with both chemical and mechanical patent preparation and prosecution

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Admission to the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• B.S. or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related technical field

Certifications:

• USPTO Registration Number required

• State Bar admission required
