Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking both junior and mid-level associates to join its specialized Private Wealth and Fiduciary Litigation practice. This unique opportunity offers involvement in emotionally charged and high-stakes legal disputes surrounding trusts, estates, conservatorships, and fiduciary obligations. Candidates will work closely with accomplished trial lawyers on cases that directly impact individuals and families, often involving intricate financial and relational dynamics.

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation involving trust and estate disputes

• Handle cases relating to breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and financial elder abuse

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare court filings

• Participate in depositions, discovery processes, and trial preparation

• Collaborate with senior litigators on complex case strategies

• Manage direct client communications and expectations

• Contribute to developing client relationships and supporting business development

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of hands-on litigation experience

• Exposure to or experience with fiduciary litigation, estate disputes, or conservatorship matters preferred

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong writing and analytical skills

• Comfort with emotionally sensitive matters involving family disputes

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, trial-focused environment

• High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities

• Courtroom experience or demonstrated interest in trial work is a plus
