A law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate to join its team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an exciting opportunity for attorneys with at least two years of experience in labor and employment law and litigation to contribute to a dynamic practice. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling employment-related legal matters and possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients. Duties

• Represent clients in labor and employment law disputes, including litigation and negotiations.
• Provide advice and counsel on a wide range of employment law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour issues.
• Handle case management, from drafting legal documents to managing discovery and client communication.
• Prepare and argue motions, as well as represent clients in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to devise strategies for resolving labor and employment issues.
• Stay updated on changes to labor laws and regulations to provide proactive advice to clients.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in labor and employment law and litigation.
• Solid understanding of labor laws, including workplace discrimination, wage and hour law, and employment contracts.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral advocacy and communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Nevada.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Nevada State Bar is required.
