Duties

• Structure federal tax aspects of M&A, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions.
• Collaborate with private equity, corporate, real estate, and IP teams.
• Draft comprehensive tax analyses, memos, and deal documentation.
• Counsel on tax-free reorganizations and partnership equity structures.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to internal tax strategy initiatives.

Requirements

• JD with LL.M. or equivalent tax credentials.
• 3-5 years of experience in U.S. federal tax, specializing in M&A and cross-border transactions.
• Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
• Track record of working effectively among corporate, international tax, IP, and real estate lawyers.
• Adaptable researcher and writer with high-quality drafting ability.
• Admission to the New York bar.

Education
