As part of the team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals through the bankruptcy process, providing them with expert legal counsel, and assisting them in achieving financial stability.

Duties:

• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on bankruptcy-related cases.
• Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, and correspondence.
• Represent clients in court hearings and negotiations with creditors.
• Advise clients on their rights, options, and best course of action under the bankruptcy code.
• Maintain accurate case files and records, utilizing legal resources like Westlaw.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to create strategies for complex cases.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest changes in bankruptcy law and regulations.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in the jurisdiction of Akron, OH.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Proficient in legal research tools, especially Westlaw.
• Strong written communication skills for drafting legal documents and client correspondence.
• Excellent verbal communication skills to explain complex legal concepts to clients clearly.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Experience in bankruptcy law is preferred.
• Recent law graduates awaiting bar results are encouraged to apply.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active State Bar license to practice law in Ohio.
