A law firm seeks a full-time Real Estate Attorney with a focus on agricultural and timber matters for its office in Seattle, Washington. The successful candidate will join a dynamic real estate practice, contributing to a diverse range of projects and client engagements.

Duties

• Conduct real estate transactions and due diligence, including title reviews.
• Draft and negotiate operating contracts and conservation easements.
• Engage in business development within natural resource industries.
• Manage complex transactions and prepare client-ready documents.
• Collaborate across offices and practice groups.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of legal experience in real estate, with a focus on agricultural and/or timber matters.
• Experience in at least one key industry sector, preferably within a law firm setting.
• Strong entrepreneurial and client service mindset.
• Excellent legal research, analysis, writing, and communication skills.
• Some portable book of business or demonstrated success in client development is a plus.
• Admission to the Oregon State Bar or Washington State Bar, or eligibility for reciprocity.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Oregon State Bar or Washington State Bar.
