Commercial Solar Paralegal

The candidate coordinates key solar project closings, including creating and maintaining data rooms for outside investors, tracking project timelines and outstanding action items, preparing transactional documents, and managing other closing responsibilities. Prepares draft contracts with technical design specifications and negotiated commercial terms; coordinates across the Sales, Engineering, Project Finance, and Legal functional groups as necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness. Fields questions from various internal and external stakeholders regarding agreement terms. Suggests and negotiates edits to agreements by redlining and discussing with in-house counsel as well as internal and external stakeholders. Manages the contracts lifecycle process for all agreements reviewed by the Legal team. Actively contributes to initiatives to improve contracting processes and tools. Accurately records contract details in CRM to facilitate company tracking and reporting requirements. Maintains templates, drafts, and executed agreements for use by all stakeholders. Assists with legal research and template revisions as needed. Completes other legal assignments, projects, and administrative duties as assigned.
