Duties:

• Consult with clients to understand their financial goals, challenges, and objectives.
• Draft and tailor estate plans, including trusts and related documents, for high-net-worth individuals.
• Advise clients on strategies to reduce estate, gift, and other taxes.
• Guide wealth preservation and asset protection, ensuring client interests are safeguarded.
• Advise on charitable giving and philanthropic endeavors, including the creation of charitable trusts and foundations.
• Assist clients with business succession and transfer matters.
• Manage and advise on real estate transactions for high-value properties.
• Oversee the administration of trusts and estates.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to provide a holistic wealth management strategy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of estate planning laws and trends through legal research and continuing education.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff and attorneys.
• Ensure client confidentiality and data security at all times.
• Adhere to all firm protocols and policies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California (additional Bar admissions in WY, NV, FL a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, with an emphasis on high-net-worth clients.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex client needs with discretion and professionalism.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• Additional Bar admissions (WY, NV, FL) preferred.

Skills:

• Expertise in estate planning, including trusts, tax strategy, and asset protection.
• Ability to provide clear, actionable advice to high-net-worth individuals.
• Experience drafting and managing complex legal documents.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Capacity to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams (accountants, financial advisors, etc.).
