A Dallas-based law firm seeks a seasoned Family Law Attorney to join its dedicated legal team. The role involves managing a full caseload from start to finish, including direct client interactions, courtroom representation, and strategic case development. Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and modifications

• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and final orders

• Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support client strategy

• Manage the discovery process and oversee document production and review

• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and strategic guidance

• Engage in settlement negotiations and court appearances, including hearings and trials

• Coordinate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure case efficiency

• Maintain accurate timekeeping and documentation in the firm’s case management system

• Participate in case strategy sessions with senior attorneys and firm leadership

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of direct family law experience

• At least 1 year of courtroom litigation experience

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas

• Strong written and verbal advocacy skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently

• Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive client matters

• Comfortable using Mac-based systems and legal technology platforms

• Ability to work well within a team-oriented, client-service-focused environment

• Professional demeanor with a positive and resilient attitude

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Texas
