This position offers a meaningful opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle a broad range of immigration matters, including removal defense and family-based petitions. The role provides hands-on case management, direct client interaction, courtroom advocacy, and collaboration within an experienced legal team committed to serving immigrant communities.

Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals
Conduct client intakes and legal assessments, including on-site visits to detention centers
Prepare and file diverse immigration applications including:
Removal defense petitions
Family-based immigration cases
Humanitarian relief requests
USCIS filings
Explain complex immigration laws and procedures to clients
Develop legal strategies for individual cases and prepare clients/witnesses for court or USCIS testimony
Draft legal briefs and supporting documentation for various case types
Review application packets prepared by legal staff to ensure accuracy and completeness
Meet with prospective clients to provide strategic consultations
Engage with law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and community organizations to stay informed of evolving immigration policies
1 to 4 years of experience in immigration law
Proven ability to manage a caseload independently
Track record of advancing legal cases in a timely and effective manner
Experience working with EOIR, USCIS, and detained/non-detained cases
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Familiarity with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, citizenship, and waivers
Case management software experience is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state
In good standing with a state bar
Legal writing and research proficiency
Oral advocacy in court and client-facing communication
Strategic thinking and problem-solving in legal contexts
Ability to prepare clients for testimony and legal interviews
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Spanish fluency preferred
