Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Real Estate/Land Use Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate and land use law, with experience in zoning, land use planning, and real estate development. This is a fully remote position, with the potential for a hybrid work model starting in Fall 2025. The role offers autonomy in managing a caseload while collaborating with a seasoned team of attorneys and professionals on impactful projects in a flexible and supportive work environment.

Location:

  • Tukwila, WA

Duties:

  • Draft and review legal documents such as condominium declarations, CC&Rs, easements, and HOA agreements.
  • Manage projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables exceed client expectations.
  • Collaborate with surveyors, architects, and other professionals to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Conduct HOA transfer meetings and address administrative requirements.
  • Provide legal advice on zoning, land use planning, and real estate development issues.
  • Attend client meetings, provide updates, and offer strategic counsel for complex real estate challenges.
  • Conduct research on legal precedents and regulatory requirements to support client success.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar in good standing.
  • 2+ years of experience in real estate and land use law, with a proven track record of excellence.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Client-focused, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceeding expectations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in good standing.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to real estate and land use.
  • Knowledge of zoning, land use planning, and real estate development regulations.
  • Ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively with clients and other professionals.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex legal challenges.
