Location:

• Jacksonville, FL

Duties:

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and memoranda

• Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials

• Conduct legal research and prepare for court proceedings

• Advise clients and negotiate on their behalf

• Analyze legal matters and develop case strategies

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients to ensure effective case management

• Maintain accurate and organized case files

• Meet billable hour expectations and manage deadlines

• Perform additional legal tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Florida

• Demonstrated litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense

• Ability to manage caseload independently and efficiently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities

• Must meet established billing goals

• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Legal writing and research

• Oral advocacy and courtroom experience

• Negotiation and settlement skills

• Case analysis and litigation strategy
